Load the Live App manifest

In this tutorial, we will load the Live App in Ledger Wallet. By the end, the app name will appear in the Ledger Wallet menu and we will be able to open it.

9. Create manifest.json

A manifest tells Ledger Wallet which URL to open and which Wallet API methods the app may call. Create manifest.json at the project root. Use this sample:

10. Import the manifest

Install Ledger Wallet desktop. Open Settings, then About, and click the Ledger Wallet version ten times. A Developer section appears.

1. Turn on Enable platform dev tools.
2. Next to Add a local app, click Browse and select manifest.json.

A new row appears in the menu, using the name from the manifest. Open it to run the Live App inside Ledger Wallet.
