📢 Breaking change: Applications using LedgerJS for transport implementation should migrate to the Device Management Kit (DMK). Learn more.

Breaking change: LedgerJS deprecated in September 2026

In September 2026, the Ethereum app will drop support for signEIP712HashedMessage (the hashed / blind-signing variant of EIP-712). This removes the last working path for @ledgerhq/hw-app-eth, and all LedgerJS packages (hw-app-*, hw-transport-*) are deprecated from that date.

Applications that have not migrated to the Device Management Kit (DMK) by September 2026 will be unable to sign EIP-712 typed data on Ledger devices.
