How to ensure token support for Clear Signing

Clear signing for ERC-721, ERC-1155 and ERC-20 tokens is automatically handled by the Ethereum application if the specific token is in the Ledger supported list.

Follow this guide to check if your token is supported in Ledger Live and how to ask for its addition.

Step 1: Check if your token is supported

  1. Visit the Ledger supported coins and tokens list
  2. Search for your token by name or symbol
  3. If found, your token already supports Clear Signing âś…

Step 2: Get your token added (if not listed)

  1. Contact support - contact Ledger customer service with your token’s contract address, name, and symbol
  2. Wait 2 weeks - tokens are added automatically several times per week, so allow time for the process

Step 3: Add a token icon (optional)

If your token appears without an icon in Ledger Live, you can add one by submitting a Pull Request to the Ledger Live repository.
